For most homeowners, there is nothing to compare with the warm, durable beauty of solid oak flooring. However, Armorshine uses hundreds of wood varieties to exactly match the decor and usage patterns for each customer.

Floors

Armorshine commonly installs three basic types of wood floors, using planks from 2-1/4 to 7 inches wide.

Standard floors
For most installations, standard floors provide the best combination of price, reliability and structural integrity.

engineered floors
Glued directly to a concrete slab, engineered floors install quickly, repair easily and are often less expensive than standard installations.

floating floors
Raised to create space beneath, floating floors allow in-floor heating, space for pipes and wiring, and help to protect bare feet from winter chills.

Traditional Woods
Commonly used in commercial and residential flooring, these wood species are selected for quality, reliability and low cost

Exotic Woods
Exotic wood species are selected for exceptional beauty and unique characteristics. Though less common, these woods often exceed traditioal woods in quality and appearance.
